Despite some local differences, the decision-making process follows a similar structure in every organization. With Administrative Decision-Making in JOIN, the decision-making process is divided into fixed, configurable steps. For each step, stakeholders are informed, and all their actions and documents are added to the decision.
This way, all process steps are stored orderly and securely in one system, and the entire process is transparent to all stakeholders.

IN SIX STEPS TO A DECISION
Different approval routes can be configured, but for every decision, you always go through these steps:
1. CREATING A PROPOSAL
Creating a proposal consisting of various sections and attachments.
2. SEEKING ADVICE
Optional: Seek advice from colleagues and add or modify information.
3. EVALUATING THE PROPOSAL
A supervisor approves the proposal; otherwise, it goes back to step 1.
4. APPROVING
Decision-makers indicate whether they approve the proposal (move to step 6) or if they want to discuss it.
5. AGENDA SETTING
The proposal is added to the agenda, for example, via JOIN Agenda.
6. DECISION LIST
A decision list is created and added to the case.
